The power of "never mind"

Do you remember how old you were when you discovered the "power of 'never mind'"?

I can't remember exactly how old I was, but it was old enough to grasp what I was doing yet young enough that my parents still had some patience with me.

"MOMMY!!"

"WHAT!"

"...Never mind."

...

"MOMMY!!"

"WHAT!!"

"...Never mind."

...

"MOMMY!!"

"I'm gonna 'never mind' your behind if you don't stop that!"

It was fun while it lasted.
